HermeZen chose Hermes Agent as its underlying engine because its modular toolchain, multi-agent collaboration, and persistent memory system are best suited to building a full-stack cross-border B2B workbench. EastDigi's Hermes Land-Sea-Air three engines — JunMa (Land engine, prospecting & deal-making) · JunKun (Sea engine, deep data dives) · JunPeng (Air engine, strategic vision) — along with JunXiaoMeng, a lightweight container for everyday tasks, are the deeply customized industry solutions built on the Hermes Agent framework.
They serve completely different purposes. Claude Code and OpenAI Codex are code generation and assistance tools for developers. Hermes Agent is a general-purpose multi-agent framework — it can call tools, manage knowledge bases, operate the file system, connect to communication platforms like WeCom/Feishu, and schedule recurring tasks. It's a complete AI operating-system layer.
